This course can only be offered to candidates who hold a valid First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate. This training can start up to three months before the expiry date of their certificate or a maximum of 28 days beyond the expiry date (updated May 2006). If the certificate expires, the individual will have to undertake a full course of training to be re-established as a first aider (as laid down by the HSE).
This course is normally delivered over 2 consecutive days. We do offer the course to be delivered over longer periods of time such as 1 day a week for 2 weeks or to be delivered as evening sessions over 4 weeks. The course can be delivered in such a way to suit your individual requirements by negotiation.
There are 3 written assessments, followed by the final practical assessment by 2 independent assessors (as laid down by the HSE).
Successful candidates are issued with a First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate at the end of the assessment process. The certificates are valid for 3 years (at this time).

The fee for this First Aid at Work Refresher (FAWR) course is £100.00 per candidate. For group bookings delivered on site we can offer a fee reduction.
Fess are inclusive of instruction, all course materials including a course handbook consisting of 160 pages, assessments and certificates to successful candidates. Tea and coffee.
