Selecting the right training course for your needs is sometime difficult so to that end choose from the links for more information. If you would like to discuss the matter with our principal trainer Kevin Chugg you can contact him at any time. We are based in Barnstaple North Devon and we provide courses in first aid and manual handling. All of our courses are certificated, 3 years for the first aid and one year for the manual handling and AED (Automated External Defibrillation). Our principal trainer, Kevin Chugg who has been teaching first aid since 1985. Kevin spent nearly 15 years in the Army treating casualty's in Northern Ireland, Kenya, Bosnia, United States and the Gulf. He has also taught for the www.redcross.org.uk British Red Cross as the District Training Officer and for 7 years as a Support lecturer at www.ndevon.ac.uk North Devon College.
All of our trainers have a vast knowledge of experience and qualifications. We have been there seen it and all have t-shirts to prove it. I believe that the learning whenever possible should be made fun and interactive, first aid isn't about learning and recalling statements of fact, it is about understanding what the problem is and how to treat it safety.
First aid is a life skill and the probability is that your casualty will be a person you know well such as a friend or a family member.
